The round table discussion on Moldova with experts from the United States Institute of Peace

On April 2, 2018, at the invitation of the United States Institute of Peace, Mrs. Tatiana Solomon, Charge d’affaires a.i. and Veronica Dragnev - Sacara, Counselor, participated at a round table discussion on Moldova.

The event was attended by USIP experts that cover conflict resolution, promoting good governance, the rule of law and combating trafficking in human beings. The discussion focused on the progress related to the reform agenda of the Republic of Moldova, emphasizing the commitment of the Government to deepen the cooperation with the Western partners - the United States and the European Union.

The discussions included an extensive exchange of views on developments regarding the Transnistrian conflict settlement process, as well as the prospects for the current year in the context of the Italian OSCE Chairmanship. USIP is America’s institute to promote national security and global stability by reducing violent conflicts abroad.

The participants agreed to continue the cooperation by capitalizing on the USIP platform to deepen and implement the main dimensions of the bilateral dialogue.
