Meeting with participants from the Republic of Moldova in the Professional Fellows Program

On June 2nd, first secretary in charge of educational cooperation Andrian Roşa and consul Maxim Arghir had a meeting at the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova to the United States of America with the participants in the Professional Fellows Program, Legislative Process and Governance component, which is sponsored by the United States Department of State's Bureau for Educational and Cultural Affairs.

During the meeting, an exchange of views was made on the experience gained and the benefits of participating in the 2017 spring edition of the program. Iulian Suhan (prosecutor, Prosecutor's Office for Combating Organized Crime and Special Cases), Olga Rabei (project manager, Institute for Penal Reform, member of the National Council for State Guaranteed Legal Aid) and Dorin Toma (migration and development expert) shared the good practices obtained and professional connections established at the Alexandria Prosecutor's Office in Virginia, the „DC Law Students in Court” organization from Washington D.C. and the Office of the Secretary of State of North Carolina, as well as the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
