On October 18, 2016, the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova hosted a group of students from George Washington University. The young people are part of the student organization PEERS (Professionals in European, Eurasian and Russian Studies) focusing their master studies on Europe, Eurasia and Russia.

On 14th of September, the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in the United States of America was represented at the launching event of the 2016 edition of Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program (TEA), a Program of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the US Department of State.
